So here we go, let’s look at a comparison of what I could find on the market today. The installation cost is very subjective – every situation will be different. My estimate is just my estimate, based on a new installation when done at the same time the driveway is built. If you install a pit type in an existing driveway you will have to get individual quotes, but for a guestimate add $10,000 for repaving and concrete and drainage work.an average driveway. After the table, I put a summary of each of the units, with my feelings about it and why. If you get bored, you can always skip to the end. I put the one I chose last. Happy comparison-shopping!
